At William Murray we like to do our bit. We’d certainly agree to Hospitality Action’s charity idea, asking diners to add an extra £1 on their bill.

As part of Hospitality Action Week restaurants will ask diners to make a donation ‘at your discretion’.

Celebrity chef Michael Caines is supporting the appeal and will be operating the scheme within Michael Caines Abode restaurants in Chester and Manchester.

He said: “Simply by adding a discretionary donation of just £1 to your bill during Hospitality Action Week, you will provide a vital lifeline to those in need in the hospitality industry.”
