THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Account Manager with food flair to join our friendly team to work on a range of blue-chip accounts. For the right person it will mean fast track career progression in a top 100 agency and a chance to work in the culinary world.

Your role will involve:

  • Responsibility for specific accounts and projects
  • Project management across PR and Digital Communications
  • Developing creative strategies for clients
  • Developing persuasive proposals
  • Writing effective, impactful content
  • Managing junior members of the team

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone with a real passion for delivering results for clients – independently or, as part of a team. So you will also need to be confident when it comes to communicating and be a proactive member of a hard working, fun team.

Key attributes will include:

  • Experience of working with business-to-business clients is essential.
  • Experience of working with food and drink clients is desirable
  • Ability to deliver imaginative, effective PR and Communications programmes to delight clients
  • Experience of wider communications tactics, in addition to media relations
  • Confident communicator
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and journalists

An SAE That Loves Food?

We are looking for someone with a real passion for delivering results for clients - independently or, as part of a team. They will be able to work smartly to deliver creative campaigns and to proactively meet deadlines.

Ideally, they will bring an interest and understanding of wider communications tactics, in addition to media relations.

All our clients are key players in the food, drink and hospitality industry and some previous experience in these areas is an advantage. Experience of working with business-to-business clients is essential.

Your role will involve day-to-day client handling, project management and media relations. You will be responsible for the ongoing features process and be expected to effectively manage the delivery of your own communications projects and manage external suppliers.

To give you a flavour for the role, duties will include:-

  • Project management across PR and communications
  • Attend client meetings and reporting
  • Manage editorial features calendar
  • Use initiative and suggest creative solutions
  • Deliver well written copy
  • Build good working relationships with key media (online and printed)
  • Demonstrate an ability for proposal writing
  • Contribution in presentations to clients and new business contacts
  • Liaise confidently with team members, clients and the media
