A look back at August and September

October 2022

It’s been an action-packed couple of months at William Murray HQ. The team launched a number of high-profile campaigns with influencers including: Married at First Sight’s Charlene Douglas; Channel 4 mixologist, Pritesh Mody; and Great British Menu finalist, Charlotte Vincent. We also got well and truly back out into industry, organising events for OGGS®, Lactalis and Premier Foods, and attending Arena, Casual Dining, Lunch and NACC.

Two cracking events for OGGS®

August was a cracking month for our OGGS® team who created two industry launches for the plant-based egg brand. In the first, bar tenders were briefed to impress Shake Off judges Pritesh Mody, cocktail expert on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, and award-winning mixologist Nicole Sykes with a retro-inspired cocktail and on the spot creation from a mystery basket. The second saw celebrated chef, Kirk Haworth, and Pritesh Mody host the Ultimate Brunch and Cocktail Event where casual dining operators, hotels and pubs, were treated to a delicious plant-based brunch using Scrambled  OGGS® and OGGS® Aquafaba.

Lights, camera, action

It was lights, camera, action for Paulig PRO in a month of filming for the brand. First, we captured the launch of their new market position as OOH solution provider in a virtual event revealing 2023’s megatrends: The rise of indulgence, consumer demand: authentic experiences, customisation and premiumisation. And sharing their new insight-driven concepts and NPD: Chicken Shack and Mexi-Go. Then we headed to the H2O Street Food Awards to capture content on the wraps, seasonings and spices for their social channels and future campaigns. It was a great opportunity to engage with chefs and buyers and of course taste winner Paul Human from Signature Brew’s Wings for the Seoul.

Ciao Cicchetti

We said Ciao Cicchetti – launching our first campaign with Lactalis Professional.  Fronted by Great British Menu finalist and National Chef of the Year 2022 semi-finalist, Charlotte Vincent we’re working with the leading cheese brand to help restaurants and pubs boost midweek sales using the Venetian tradition of cicchetti. Married at First Sight

It was a match made in heaven when we brokered a partnership between Married at First Sight UK’s relationship expert Charlene Douglas, and Fittleworth Medical to front its latest episodes of The Ostomy Podcast. In two engaging episodes, the wonderful Justine provided us with honest, candid insight chatting to Charlene about life with a stoma and the impact it can have on relationships. The series is designed to help ostomates talk more openly about the challenges that they face and give support post-surgery. Catering with care: Souper 7

 

Premier Food’s Souper 7 launched at The National Association of Care Catering to support its new range of fortified Batchelors soups in care. We took a needs / solution approach, majoring on the high levels of Vitamin A and D in the products and providing a clear business case for using the soups in care home and residential homes. We brought to life in a Souper 7 Benefits Pack created in collaboration with independent dietician, Juliette Kellow and GP, Dr Shane Roche. The guide was packed with evidenced information on the importance of good nutrition and benefits of Vitamin A and D in terms of Hydration, Bones, Muscles, Skin, Vision, Teeth, and Immunity.
